Champion is a small place with plenty to offer both in and around town.
If you hop on the Western Reserve Greenway Bike trail from the Sunside Trailhead on St. Rte. 305, you’ll be right on track for a ride through Champion’s thriving, tree-filled landscape.
Take a swing at a round of golf at Northwood Golf Course (which the bike trail passes through) or Cranberry Hills.
Outdoor activities don’t stop there. Willow Lake Park in northern Champion is family- and pet-friendly, so you can bring everyone along to camp.
Shoppers can find gifts to buy at the Rusted Buckeye, a local spot for furniture, décor and craft events.
Champion is also home to Kent State University’s Trumbull campus, where students study criminology and justice, communications, nursing and more. Visitors can spend time walking the campus or checking out the Link Art Gallery or the Kent State Trumbull Theatre.
