It started with a passion for cigars, plain & simple. The saying “Choose a job you love and you’ll never work a day in your life” haunted us through decades and through our careers. We loved our jobs, but the answer to the question “What would you do for a living if you could do anything?” was always “I’d open a cigar lounge”. No matter what we were doing, one of the best parts of the day was always that magical time when you sit down and relax with a quality cigar. And the magic of the cigar smoking experience wasn’t just about tobacco. It was about the friendships, the camaraderie, the social act of enjoying a good cigar together that made it our passion.
SIGARO is more than a cigar store. It features a retail setting with a beautiful, hand crafted walk-in humidor and pleasant seating areas for the casual or occasional customer to enjoy their cigar. Upstairs is a private, member’s only lounge with big screen TV’s, a theater room, a game room with a card table for dominoes, board games, or cards, and a kitchen for snacks and coffee. Sigaro is BYOB, but serves bottled water and premium coffee products. The building --built before World War 1-- is historic and the vintage architecture has been thoughtfully and carefully restored and renovated. We think the finished product is more class than business and we hope you will too!
